This results in improved surface finishes. The variable hydrostatic slide system maintains a constant gap across all work areas, ensuring strong rigidity and stability.
  • Exceptional Straightness Accuracy: Achieves straightness accuracy of 0.4 μm over 800 mm on the cross axis and less than 0.5 μm per meter on the longitudinal axis (UPG408NC model).
  • Proven Flatness Performance: In testing, the machine demonstrated excellent flatness accuracy. By grinding workpieces placed at the left, center, and right sides of the chuck and measuring 8 points on each side (24 points total), flatness remained within 0.5 μm for all positions, showcasing its resistance to eccentric loads.
